By Popular Request

More than one visitor commenting on my previous post (A Day Out for the Knees) intimated that  I should make my knees public.Yesterday we went to the Kettlewell Scarecrow Festival and it just so happens that Karen took this photograph:

It strikes me that there is a meme (argh, no, not a meme!) in this - think of it as a sort of non-competitive knobbly knees contest. Dig out your cameras, angle your laptop built-in webcams, or whatever... Go for it! Knees please! Sorry, I'm getting really silly... But why not? It is August after all.

The image of those wonderful white knees alongside your companion, a well tanned scarecrow, is truly scary, but a treat nevertheless.

What a great idea: a poem, piece of prose or meme as they say in the blogosphere om knobbly knees.

I'll contribute of I can in the meantime, 'Knees up mother Brown.'

LOL - I love it! And the hat you're wearing. Really, the whole situation is just great.

My knees are too fat for public viewing. I think I'll take a picture of Dr. M's knees - he has quite nice legs IMHO.

The knee's a highly articulate joint
and seeing your photo, I have to anoint
Your two as the nearest, as far as I see
in beauteous flair, to the six on a bee.
This rhyme may inspire a True Poet to whinge;
But the bee's knee's the acme of this clever hinge!

there's plenty of knee-jerk reaction coming in ... the best so far from your mum

Cor! That was a quick reaction everybody!

Elisabeth: I was thinking merely of pictures of knees - but if people wish to convey an impression of their knees in another medium, fine.

The Bug: We await!

AnnODyne: Thank you for the poem!

Weaver of Grass: The one on the right.

Marion: Thank you.

PiR: Runners, as we both know, are not in the least shy of exposing their knees.

Nice knees! So, can we have a "knees up"?

That's the one spot I don't think I'd want to share. I was always "knock-kneed" as my dad used to say. I wore corrective shoes when I was a tot.

Yours are quite acceptable, I must say.

I've always told my daughter, no stylish woman shows her knees after 40! Imagine if men followed that?

Frankly, unmissable.

And what would your mother say?
Oh, she's said it...
